It is crucial to have reliable and adequate access to healthcare resources when facing inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). CCEB Senior Scholars collaborated with other experts in a recent study to evaluate the variations in healthcare for IBD patients by race and ethnicity. After collecting and assessing data, researchers discovered that marginalized racial and ethnic groups experienced less care for long-term IBD management.
